Job Title:

Salary Range:

$60,000 – $80,000, based on experience.

Location:

Tampa FL – Corporate Office or Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Online Quality Assurance/Control Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products deployed on Azure platforms. This individual will work closely with development, operations, and product management teams to implement and execute industry-standard test scripts, automation tools, and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning and Strategy:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
    • Design and implement test strategies, including manual and automated testing approaches, to ensure thorough coverage.
  2. Test Script Development:
    • Develop and maintain test cases based on industry-standard methodologies, ensuring they cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Utilize Azure DevOps tools for test case management, execution, and tracking.
  3. Automation Testing:
    • Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools compatible with Azure environments (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, etc.).
    • Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing using Azure DevOps.
  4. Execution and Reporting:
    • Execute test cases (both manual and automated) to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.
    • Document and report defects, track their progress, and validate their resolution.
  5. Performance and Load Testing:
    • Design, execute, and analyze performance and load tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability and reliability.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with development and operations teams to provide timely feedback on software quality.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure alignment with development sprints.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in quality assurance and automation testing.
    • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent 4+ years of experience in doing similar work in lieu of degree
  • Proven experience in quality assurance/control testing, with a focus on Azure environments.
  • Strong proficiency in writing and executing test scripts, including automated tests.
  • Experience using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
