We’re seeking an experienced Telehealth Corporate Attorney to join our talented team and play a crucial role in Customer Partnership management for our cutting-edge web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mid-Level Corporate Attorney in telehealth, you will independently handle complex contracts and provide legal counsel on telehealth operations. You will ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations and manage a portfolio of legal projects.

  • Strategic Legal Planning: Lead the development and execution of legal strategies related to telehealth services and business operations.
  • Complex Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of high-value contracts, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure robust compliance with all applicable telehealth regulations and provide guidance on regulatory changes.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risks associated with telehealth operations.
  • Executive Advice: Advise senior management on legal implications of business decisions and telehealth strategies.
  • External Relations: Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate complex telehealth contracts, including technology licensing agreements, partnership agreements, and BAAs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state telehealth regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Team’s Advisory Role: Provide legal advice on telehealth operations, risk management, and regulatory changes to the internal Wellsync teams.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle contract disputes, including negotiation, mediation, or arbitration.
  • Policy Development: Assist in developing internal policies and procedures related to telehealth compliance and risk management.
  • Training and Education: Educate internal teams on legal aspects of telehealth, data privacy, and contract obligations.
  • Manage Prioritization: Help document and influence prioritization based on customer need, risk impact and strategic demands.
  • Leadership Team Participation: Demonstrate legal oversight and leadership by mentoring colleagues, influencing internal stakeholders, and providing thought leadership.
  • Management – Outsourced Legal Resources: Management of outsourced legal resources and engagement at the project level.

Qualifications:

  • Education: JD from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Admission to the state bar.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in healthcare law, with extensive experience in telehealth and contract management.
  • Skills: Proven leadership abilities, exceptional negotiation and analytical skills, comprehensive understanding of telehealth law and technology, and strong communication skills.
